It's rivalry week…what is your favorite and why?

Doesn't have to be Div I, could be NAIA if that's your flavor.

My favorite Div III is Denison-Ohio Wesleyan University. Div II would be Grand Valley St-Hillsdale and Div I would be Ohio St-Michigan with Bama-Auburn a close second.

I'll follow Clemson-South Carolina and USC-UCLA as well.

NAIA would be Georgetown-Union.

Harvard vs. Yale


Since I have degrees from both university's.

Harvard's courses were just a shade harder than Yale's.

Im an SEC man all the way but I still love the passion of the fans in the Ohio St/Michigan rivalry. There is a great documentary on one of the movie channels about it. I also love Army/Navy. It just makes me proud every year. They are pumped regardless of the type of seasons they are having!

In my opinion in order to be a real rivalry, there has to be a name associated with it. Like the Civil War, Egg Bowl, Iron Bowl. I'm sure you can name who plays those games.

That said, my favorite rivalry is the Backyard Brawl WVU vs Pitt.
