1st - Union County
2nd - Wayne County
3rd - Moore
4th - Johnson Central
5th - Scott
6th - North Oldham
7th - Doss
8th - LaRue County
9th - Bourbon County
10th - Perry County Central
11th/12th - Sheldon Clark vs. Caldwell County: Unknown Result?

Big School Division
1st - St. Xavier
2nd - Oldham County
3rd - Trinity (Louisville)
4th - Fern Creek
5th - Henry Clay
6th - Woodford County
7th - Campbell County
8th - Meade County
9th - North Hardin
10th - Simon Kenton
11th - Anderson County
12th - Madison Central

Union County defeated St. Xavier in the Small School vs. Big School final dual.

The State Duals SHOULD BE a KHSAA State Championship. The sport of wrestling is growing in the state. For those of us that know the sport, there is a big difference between Dual Championship and a Individual Tournament with a Team Champion. Trust me, there is some major stragety that takes place at a Dual that doesn't occur at an Individual tournament.
I think this would be a big step up for wrestling as a whole in the state.

The KHSAA could a sanction a Regional Dual in all eight regions the second to last weekend in January, then have the State Duals the last weekend in January. Send the top two teams from each region. That would be a 16 team bracket. Awarding places to the top five teams.

Then have the Individual Regionals like normal in Febuary.
