Of course Im referring to the New York Yankees who were beat out 3 games to 1 by the Detriot Tigers in the ALDS. Just seeing what everyones thoughts are on the Yankees and all of there attempts in buying a World Series?

The word is that Steinbrenner will fire Joe Torre for Lou Pinella. I know that Pinella is a good manager that led the Reds to the World Series championship in 1990, but is he really better than Torre. Also, how great would it be if the Yanks traded A-Rod to the Reds? I think once he gets out of that environment he will flourish. I think this is very possible. The Reds would probably have to give up Encarnacion, and one of Dunn or Griffey. I could live with that.

Best thing besides seeing the Braves win is the Yankees lose, wait I think I like seeing the Yanks get beat more.
