Jazz offseason
#1
My poor Jazz...

They've not recovered since Boozer left.

Boozer bolts to Chicago, Williams runs off one of the last great coaches in the NBA and then they trade Williams right after - They've never been the same.

But anyway!

Kanter is the highest paid player on the roster this season at $6Mil
July 1st Gordon Hayward will be a RFA that is due no less than $4.6Mil - IMO the Jazz should match up to $7Mil or so on him, but be careful not to overpay. Hayward is a good starter, but he's not the franchise's future.

They have a guaranteed $16Mil on the books (not counting Hayward's salary and about $3Mil on some team options on some guys that probably don't need to stay).

They have about $60Mil to sign Hayward and whoever else they want to bring in - then throw in the #5 pick in the draft.

They have a lot to work with, but it's hard to lure someone to start a dynasty in Salt Lake City...
