I had indicated that I thought the Lakers would go after Boozer in the Pau Gasol thread...

but I assumed what they could bid wouldn't be enough to win the contract.


Boozer will contribute and fill a much needed roster spot.

I know he ain't an All-Star any more...
but he's a vet that will be good to have around for Randle's rookie season.

Lakers were going to sign-and-trade Pau for Boozer and a draft pick when Boozer's price tag was $13Mil.

LA just needs to worry about a coach now.
