The Los Angeles Lakers have offered their head-coaching job to Byron Scott, according to league sources.
The two sides are now in negotiations on a contract.

Scott has a few big years under his belt - hopefully he can channel that again with LA.
They aren't going to be deep - but they have picked up a couple of underachievers with chips on their shoulder. I think they can fight for a low seed and make it to the playoffs...
but making a deep run in the Western Conference is different than it is in the East.
