The Lady Cats Softball team will be getting a new field. It should be done before the start of the softball season

Congrats to the Lady Cats. This facility should put them in line to host the regional tournament. Good to see interest in the game.

There is no word if this will put Bell County in the running for hosting the regional tournament. This was suppose to happen getting a new field about 4 years ago but couldn't find no where to put it at the time.

If those in charge follow the KHSAA specs, Bell County will get a spot in the regional rotation. The new field will be inspected after completion by the regional grounds committee and we will see from there. Better make sure they dot their i's and cross their t's when building this facility in order to have the opportunity to host.

They needed a new softball field. The old one was very run down and almost a safety hazard.

The field will the first home opener for the High School either tomorrow or it will be the 28th.
