April 14, 1865 President Lincoln was shot at Ford's Theater and died the next morning.

It's sad that we as a people fail to remember our history and honor those who gave their lives for service to this country. President Lincoln saved this country but little mention of this can be found in the media.

That's crazy! You are also so right about how we never remember his death. I would have never known this if it wasn't for you.

I didn't realize that. Thanks for the post. It seems like people today have forgotten our nations history. I don't see how they cant be interested.
