Kba king of the bluegrass tourney
#1
I thought was some really good players and competition this year in all age groups. The kids seem to be better and better each year at a younger age. What is anyone else's thoughts?

Thought there was a lot of talent. Two big kids that impressed me were the Crosby and North Marshall kids. Lots of talent at middle school level, should be a fun year.

Some really talented kids this year a couple of note was a kid for Lincoln County. really talented with a mature game for his age. He led Lincoln to finals. Pulaski was the class of the 6th with good skill and size but not one dominant player but balance in the starting 5.

7th grade was a fantastic tournament with the first round of the Sunday Tournament having outstanding games. Each was within 2 to 3 point win.
Lincoln County won with Meece finishing 2nd. Both of these teams are really talented. They each have multiple players who can score the basketball. The Baird kid does it all for Lincoln and the Alcorn kid cleans everything up on the boards. #21, don't know name, gives them outstanding shooting from the arc and solid defense. Somerset Meece has talented guard play in Grundy and another kid named Kya and they get fundamental solid play from Acey. Both of these teams will have something to say about who wins the State Tournament this year.

Other teams that are very good. Clay County and Knox County are very big and physical and have a couple of nice players. Crosby has an exceptional guard that gives them a chance in most games. West Jess has 2 nice players as does Shelby East. Lex Cath has a solid team with an exceptional shooter in the Johnson kid. Boyle has a nice point guard in the Slone kid but no size which makes it difficult on them.
