Died at the age of 49 today..Sad , sad news and was well respected among the Nascar family and fans!

yeah, this is sad. I always liked Bobby Hamilton too...met him and seemed like a very nice guy..thoughts and prayers go out to his family

What is odd is how it always seems like a father/son combo where one dies in NASCAR.. Adam Petty/Richard Petty... Dale Jr/Sr... Bobby Hamilton/Bobby Jr.....Just kind of find that wierd and I am sure there are more..Just awful news and also want to throw out that Benny Parsons is not doing very well in the hospital either.

This is horrible news. He was one of my faviroite drivers for a long period of time.
