The Eagles started slow tonight but picked the pace up in the home half of the 4th after Geordan Blanton blasted a Grand Slam to deep center on a 3-0 count. Patton come in to relieve Trevor May, who was returning from injury, to pick up the win.

Blanton hit an absolute bomb. Patton located the ball well and his breaking ball was biting hard. Another one in the win column for the Golden Eagles!

Wow!! He has the green light on a 3-0 count ,............with the bases loaded,.............in a tight game??

That's certainly showing confidence in your batter .
