I read a lot of books last year then about November middle age started rearing its ugly head. It became hard to see the words. I have been putting off going to the optometrist. I did what a lot of people do and bought generic reading glasses. I haven't found a pair that has helped much yet. I prefer U.S. history and modern military history. I did just buy John Adams Republic. Hopefully, my eyes hold up enough so I can finish it.

I decided to read John Adams and the Diplomacy of the American Revolution, which I just finished. Now it's on to the John Adams book I mentioned above.
