Reds 5 - Red Sox 0
#1
The Reds defeat the Red Sox in front of the largest crowd ever to watch the Reds at their spring training home, Ed Smith Stadium in Sarasota, Florida. The game was televised on FOX Sports Net and a national audience of ESPN today.

Dice-K was awesome for the Sox: No hits, five walks, six strikeouts in five innings.

Bobby Livingston was almost as good for the Reds as he fights for a starting spot in the Reds rotation: No runs, one hit, one walk, four strikeouts in five innings.

The Reds got their runs forced in after Sox reliever Hanson walked in the first 3.

The Reds are 16-8 as the final week of Spring Training unfolds. I know that record means nothing, but it's better than 8-16 and breaking camp with tons of questions. Nobody expects much from the Reds so what do we as Reds fans have to lose?
