SALT LAKE CITY — Brent Taylor, North Ogden mayor and a major in Utah's Army National Guard, was killed in Afghanistan on Saturday.

Taylor was in Afghanistan with the Utah National Guard where he had been since January. He was killed by a member of the Afghan Army in an inside attack. Taylor is survived by his wife and 7 kids. Full story at the link below.

Saw that on Kentucky.com. Terrible tragedy. I don’t mean this in any political way whatsoever, but we can stay there for another century and it’ll still be like it is today. Godspeed to those brave men that are over there trying to give those people a better life everyday.
