Sloppy game for Valley. They looked great early on, and led by 14 at the end of the first quarter. There was even a sweet dunk from Potter off a backboard pass from Keian Worrix.
The rest of the game, though, was Valley basically going through the motions. The lead grew to as much as 24 points in the 3rd quarter, but some poor passing and cold shooting from Potter let Belfry cut into the lead. Credit to Belfry for never giving up and for outplaying SV for much of the second half.
