Whitley was down this year, didn’t make it to regional championship which they did a year ago. Also the tournament was a couple months ago. They ran out of pitching which they had plenty of the prior year.

I agree Whitley was down talent wise compared to last year but Shope is definitely a very good baseball coach, he'll have Whitley doing things in baseball in a couple years they've never done much of before like beating the puppies.
