Jackson City loaded the bases in the 7th. A force out at home for 1st out. A run scored on an error. Ball was hit to short stop, throw to home and runner was out on runner interference for out #2.

Jackson City had runners on 2 & 3. Pop up ends it with Jackson Citys best player on deck.

Estill runs their win streak to 8 straight (including the two forfeit wins over Owsley County) and have won 9 of their last 10.

I really hope coach Kaylor schedules Jackson next season. They are gonna be real good.

This was the best game of the first round. Jackson City and Estill are both well coached and have tremendous talent. The game stayed close until the fifth inning and Estill broke it open with four runs. Farmer, Hardy, Winkle, and Riddle hit the ball well against Jackson City. Jackson City battled back in the sixth and seventh scoring 3 runs but came up short. Congrats to Winkle on a well pitched game. Coach Kaylor is picking up where Coach Beard left off.
