I dont know if you could put the boys from Breathitt in there. They might be the best from their team. But as far as top 10 in the Region, thats pushing it.

Do you have the stats for Searcy, Just curious how he is 4th?

Seracy hits the ball extremely well, but I don't think I'd have him above Pelfrey. Napier of PCC may be the best player in the region as a junior.

I agree here on both parts. Napier is an all around good player. Freeman is a very good hitter as well for his young age.

You could throw Travis Hudson (1B ,3B) from Cordia in there.

Never saw him play, nor heard of him either.

Yea no doubt.I was wondering the same.

Hudson can be a good player. He's not a DI prospect or a prospect altogether. His defense is better than his offense.

yeah i seen him play a couple times last year and he really struggle at the plate but he could possibly play at ALC tho, was he a senior last year?
#14
no he will be a senior this year

Also I know that Cook has better stats than Kinser. But i would have to say that Kinser is a better all around player imo, but i wouldnt drop Cook much. Josh Napier from Estill also has one of the best Avg. coming back from last year I think around 420 kinda hard to not have him in the top 10.

I think Epperson is probably worthy of a top 10 spot. I think he was selected to play in one of the Ky. Allstar games for juniors. As for Ritchie, he had a good year for a freshman, but still has to prove himself. He's NOT a top 10 player yet, IMO.

I think the only reason that Epperson made the All-Star team was because of simple politics in the 14th. Im sure everyone would agree that he didnt impress many teams. There were several who couldve gone before him in the All-Star game. If you saw him play that day, you would know why.
#18
You could be right about the politics, which is usually the case in most allstar team selections. Assessing the value of an opposing player is tough when you only see them a few times a season, especially if you go strictly by stats. I guess that's where the coaches' opinions and baseball reputation help in selecting. The coaches usually know who's best in the region and hopefully, vote that way. But we all know that's not what always happens. I still think Epperson is deserving, IMO, just not maybe on a couple of bad days.

Yeah. I think thats a "no doubter" about anywhere you go. I'm sure Epperson has had his share of good and bad games. Everyone goes through it.

hes not really that good, dont think he deserves to be on there, but i agree his D is much better than his offense.

I would have to agree that Drake is one of the best pitchers returning in the Region if not the best.
