What are your thoughts on the stimulus checks that are going to be mailed out? I have heard everyadult making under $1,000,000.00 will receive one. I have also heard each person will get between $1,000-$2,000. What have you read\heard about this? Who do you believe should receive these checks?

IMO, if you we're not employed when the massive shutdowns \layoffs occurred, you should not get a check. Am I wrong in feeling this way?

All good points. If you aren’t a tax payer or was working prior to this but lost their job right before the pandemic took place for whatever reason but was trying to find a job I think should still receive a check

If government suppresses economic activity by forcing businesses to close, then there is no economy to be stimulated. However, nobody should fool themselves into believing that this so-called "stimulus" is anything other than a desperate, bipartisan effort to protect as many incumbent politicians as possible.

This country is broke. That's a fact. The federal government cannot afford to replace everybody's wages for 60-90 days. We in a constitutional republic. States have the right and the responsibility to govern and protect their own citizens without unreasonable meddling by Washington, DC.
