That should be an interesting matchup with the addition of Mackenzie Maynard to Pikeville.

Listened to some of this one on 94.7 out of Paintsville and the radio announcers were so confused as to who this young lady was. At one point they said they had looked through an inch thick pages of stats and she hadn't scored all year long, yet tonight she was the difference in the game. I guess they didn't realize she was at Belfry this time last year and averaging just under 15 ppg.

Gave up almost all of her jr year to transfer out of Belfry to become a Panther. Someone must have really Pi--Ed her or her parents off. Pikeville becomes a heavy favorite with the addition of this young lady!!! This year and next!!!

See it happen time and time again in about every sport... coaches bring a kid in and push the ones that are there working hard out... then act like they don't understand why the kid left or are upset.

Think she had to sit out exactly one year but not in the loop.
Looks like she played against SV in the district so Pikeville will still need to crank it up a notch...

Hearing through grapevine Coach Rice might retire from coaching. Already retired from teaching a few years back. Be interesting who gets this job if this happens. B pretty good next season but fall off drastically after that!!!!
