Then into the 70's and 80's with teams in the 80's lead by Darren Stapleton. Then into the 90's. They may not went to state tournament year after year but they had a great run. Feds Creek and Millard and Hellier for that matter which became Millard had great players. Sure they shouldn't be 3 but top 10, yes.

Wasn't saying they didn't. I know they did. I played in the 15th region in the mid to late '90's.

5 Regional Titles in the past 15 years! We’ve seen some really good 15th Region teams head to Lexington in the past 25-30 years. REALLY Good! Not knocking those Valley teams or any of the great teams that made it to the Sweet 16 but it puts things into prospective seeing the success that Paintsville had, especially them being the smallest Highschool we have in the Region! Football is hard enough, even divided into classes! Hopefully another 15th Region team will bring another one home in the not to distant future! We’ve had programs make more trips to Rupp but would Paintsville have the most Sweet 16 Tournament Win’s?
