So now here we go further down the path of lawlessness by defunding police departments. Minneapolis must have a police department under the rules of their own city charter, which is an agreement between the state legislature and the people of Minneapolis. The City Council has nonetheless evidently deemed themselves as being above the wishes of the people, and have voted to disband the police department in it's entirety anyway, which of course is illegal.

It's probably been 10 years since I first posted what I am about to repeat. When the liberal viewpoint began to be applied to keeping the law, was the moment I first recognized it was an aberration of moral reality. Lawmakers, the law enforcement community and others stood up to decry the idea as being nothing short of an existential threat to our society. Of course just as they do in this day, their liberal counterparts stood up to laugh them off as a bunch of chicken little's. But the idea was that under privileged people, including and especially minorities, who commit crime are somehow not responsible for their own actions. And that idea began to be used as a defense by liberally minded attorneys. And who better to begin the process of undermining and subverting US law than lawyers, right? Lawyers BTW, who seem to be about the only one's that the government establishment will accept as being viable to serve in public office. The idea of having candidates who are in any way sensitive to fulfilling the will of the people is very nearly dead.

The result of this idea that people are not responsible for their own lives has been endless compromise which in turn paved the way for more and more crime, gangs, a virtual plague of children whose fathers just cut them loose like the discarded wrapper of their last cheeseburger, unfettered abortion, etc.. Until these days, it has become the very legislators and the law enforcement community who once called out letting certain people get by with infractions of the law, who're out there supporting the people's right to break the law. Listen, peacefully petitioning your government does not include arson, murder, looting and all the property damage we've been seeing.

Without a strong system of law enforcement you get exponential chaos. The nature of men is to steal and cheat their way to getting what their own sloth would not afford. From the Bernie Madoff's of this world to Charles Manson, men commit crime and it's got absolutely nada to do with race. It's got to do with men's own fallen nature. But with liberalism you get only compromise until there is nothing left to compromise with.

I am reminded of a couple of movies that Kurt Russell did, "Escape From New York" and "Escape From LA." The concept at this point does not seem all that far fetched to me at all. But this is where man's tinkering with and adjusting God's law has taken us. With insurrection sweeping the land we have liberals still out there calling for more compromise. This time it's to disband this nation's police forces in favor of community-based public safety programs. And of course Antifa et-al will just go away at that point and everything will be coming up daisies.

Like the blackened framing members of the burned out buildings left behind by looters living for today, all that remains of our once great nation are mere vestiges of freedom, mere remembrances in the minds of the Veterans and legislators who once led this nation. As I keep saying there is but one way to return to sanity.

Putting some funds in a large bill doomed for failure does not change the fact that most people who advocate defunding police departments are Democrats. Your wing of the party, which consists of socialists and communists, are the biggest advocates of defunding the police. I am surprised that you are lying about that position. Democrats are apparently getting very nervous about the prospect of losing control of the House and Senate next year.

The fact is, police departments and unions overwhelmingly endorsed Donald Trump in 2020. They know who their friends and enemies are.
