As good as Grant Bingham is Dylan Preston is still JC’s most important player. He is so talented but what makes him so special is every time we need an extra effort play it always seems to be Dylan making the extra effort. Like the championship game last year Boyle Co had a big pass play early in the game that looked like it was going to be a touchdown. Dylan chased the Boyle player down from across the field and stripped the ball out. That one burst of extra effort set the tone for the entire game. The one extra effort play saved JC 7 points in a game they won by one point.

My key for this game is who besides Dylan Preston makes an extra effort play at a critical moment? Maybe Mason Lawson for JC. Who is Corbins extra effort guy?

In 1972, I believe it was, Body County came to Campbell Field to meet the Hounds in the first ever post- season game I ever watched live. I was so excited... just me and my pawpaw.
