Released audio of Trump call to GA SOS

Cardfan's only purpose on this forum is to attack Trump and anybody, the millions of good folks who voted for him, patriot public-servant scholars the like of Mark Levin, Godly clergy, no matter who, just as viciously as he can without getting called out by the mods on BGR. Continually distorting the record and the truth with no regard for consequence.

He does rather unwittingly provide opportunity for others however, to expose the less  than virtuous down side of the left.

That’s what they pay me for. Big Grin

Neither one of you fellas want to talk about the truth. It’s always “the messenger is a liar.”

Trump’s been trying to cheat and coerce for a while now. Ringing that phone off the hook in desperation and praying that GA would take him back.

SOS gonna have to file a restraining order on this stalker. SAD!

What is really funny is somebody in the WH had the contact info of the GA SOS and wouldn’t give it to whoever was pushing the buttons at the WH switchboard. So when Trump bellowed “Get me Raffensperger!”

In the middle of a tantrum, this official was doing their level best to keep this toddler from incriminating himself. But hell hath no fury like a “Karen” scorned and he was “going to speak to a manager!” Big Grin

What’s really sad is all Republicans are is pawns for him. These poor guys have been supporters and have voted and have even donated to Trump;  this is the treatment they get because Trumpo can’t win an election.

But it’s not uncommon, Trump bulldozes anybody he needs to serve his own gain.  Hooter and TRT, he’d plow right over you if need be.

I appreciate these guys didn’t take it.  The real sickos are the gutless Ted Cruz’s of the world.

I agree on all points but sometimes I think that just allowing him to post page after page of blind hate and lies would be more effective than responding to his posts at all. If people reading his irrational rants and those of most other liberals who post in this forum, then they are probably not able to discern truth from fiction any better than Half-a-Deck can.

"We are seeing the persistence of his corruption. This is not something new. This is how he has operated during most of his lifetime," Cohen said, referring to Trump's call with Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger. He called the conduct "not surprising, as stunning as it may be," and said the President was "engaging in an overt act of criminal misconduct."

Georgia Secretary of State accused of illegally entering into an agreement to change elections rules for the state to settle Democrat lawsuit and also accused of running a very crooked election. Our resident liberal Democrats accept his denials as facts and post them as proof that there was no election fraud in Georgia. Liberal logic on parade.

Agreed. I suppose my default setting on all this is truth always counters lies with the greatest possible impact. Not for people who take delight in spreading those lies and are as the result, forced to hide from their own conscience by steadfastly denying reality. But for those who may be honestly putting things together, clarifying the mess is worth the effort; albeit within certain limits.

I believe the parameters suggested above define the challenge that the President has had to slug his way through on a daily basis for his entire first term. The onslaught of lies and false accusations, punctuated by Spanish Inquisition-esque daily press briefings prosecuted by a rabidly hostile media, have been historic. With a 24/7 news loop which does in fact dictate for most the direction of their thought processes, the struggle to beat back falsehoods is beyond titanic in scope.

The frothing and rage we have seen taken to the streets has been fueled even embraced by the left. Every one of them despise DJT merely because his ideas are mostly founded on the traditional values which at one time not so long ago, were considered to be normal thought. Though portrayed as a struggle between Democrats and Republicans, this culture war is anything but. What we are watching is to this nation's shame, are the horrors associated with the fundamental transformation of America.

The issue of willful ignorance on the part of the left is far more complex than face value might suggest. Hiding from the truth is much more than errantly held opinion as the contempt fueled jeering on display on this forum clearly shows. There are the rabidly irretrievable to be sure, but there are still some who manage to think for themselves.

Oh, Hooter, you’re mistaking voter suppression for voter fraud.

Voter suppression is real, and is what Republican politicians (including Raffensberger) use to make sure they can win elections.

Voter fraud is just a scary fairy tale told by right wing fabulists to keep gullible conservatives up at night.

In fact, voter fraud is extremely rare with 1300 cases since the 1980s. Think of the billions of votes counted and 1300 cases.

You know why there is no voter fraud, because nobody really wants to go to jail.

You know why conservatives continue to lie and make it a false issue, because they can get suckers to believe it and develop policies that suppress voters they know will vote the other way.

Conservative fiction on parade. Big Grin

I have a question for any Trump supporter on here.

What character traits and values do you see in Trump that are good, moral or Christian like that maybe the rest of us are missing?

Excellent, excellent question and one that I have been trying to get an answer to for the better part of 48 months. The answer hasn't come.

I came infinitely close to sh!tting my drawers from laughing so hard at the Spanish Inquisition reference.  You are way, WAY out in right field. Btw, I despise DJT  because he is a horrible human being. I despised him all those years he was a Democrat because he was the same horrible human being. The only person I can think of that is even close to be being as slimy and deplorable is Ted Cruz.  The biggest difference between lyin' Ted and lyin' Don is that Ted is much smarter. Don reads at an eighth -grade level according to Cohen. I doubt it's that high.

The sad truth is that many people just get perverse pleasure in lying even when they gain nothing by doing so. Bill Clinton is one such person and we see it happen with the liberals that frequent this forum. They are also oblivious of how stupid their posts make them appear to decent people.

It is hard to imagine a supporter of Joe Biden calling any politician dishonest, slimey, or stupid. Biden checks all of those boxes and more. I suspect that is what makes him appeal to these guys. They see him as one of their own. If Joe Biden can grow up to be president, then there is no reason why anybody cannot be president.

Well since I couldn't get any insight about Trump's endearing qualities, maybe someone can help me finish this little ditty I constructed due to my developing writer's block.

Trump called down to Georgia
he was looking for an election to steal
he was in a bind because he finished way behind
so he was looking to make a deal
he told the secretary of state
all he had to do for him to win was recalculate
but the Georgia officials decided to tape
now he .....................

I have responded ad nauseum. NO man, according Scripture, has the right to set himself apart as being one iota better than DJT. End of story. Why would I cast more good pearls after bad to make a list to impress a man who's interested in the truth not one bit?

THE singular qualifier in God's eyes, and believe me His are the only ones that matter being that every man will be judged by Him and Him alone; is whether the man in particular has humbled himself before God and asked for forgiveness in true repentance for his own sin, let alone the President's sin.

The Apostle Paul, who btw actually penned at least two thirds of the New Testament, and referred to himself as "chief among sinners."
1 Tim 1:15 (KJV)
This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

Paul was a vicious mercenary of the misguided religious Orthodoxy of his day. Rome held control over Israel by means of a Governor named Pilate who had been appointed to mercilessly enforce order from his seat of power in Jerusalem. He did so, and ultimately presided over Christ's crucifixion. During and after which Saul of Tarsus, later to become the Apostle Paul upon his conversion, was zealously about the business of persecuting the Church of Jesus Christ. He was a very bad man. But God chose to use Paul, and that after all, is what being the Sovereign of this universe is really all about.

There was a very good reason why God chose the chief among sinners to take the lead in the early establishment of His Church. He alone is judge and no man has leave to usurp the authority of God or question God to that end.
Romans 14:4
Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.

Seriously Van, Outsider, whoever, if you guys want to stick your necks out that far like they say, this is a free country. But all men who die outside of God's grace will be required to face Him at The Great White Throne Judgment.

But to synopsize, I don't need to list DJT's redeeming qualities any more than I needed to list those of the Apostle Paul. We were all born into this world undone and deserving of an eternity separated from God due to our fallen sin nature. The one and only redeeming act or trait that any man has in this life or the one to come, is the choice each man MUST make either by commission or omission ---  whether or not to accept the blood of Christ (bled on the cross) to wash away each man's sin in atonement. Restitution. In short our good deeds are not measured against our bad, and we certainly are not judged against each other as if better. We are judged in comparison to the perfect character of Christ. We can't live with God if we're not willing to admit we are undone before Him. Accept Him as Savior or you take your chances on your own.

You, me, Saint Augustine, the entire who's who of Christendom. Nobody. Is worthy of salvation on his own merit.
Romans 3:23
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

Now you can throw all of that out where it comes to man rationalizing and making judgments from his own lowly and unlightened estate. So, do continue casting your stones boys. If you dare.

So in other words, you have no defense for him. Which is what we all knew anyway. But you sure are quick to point out your perceived flaws in folks like Obama and Clinton. Which, you know, renders all your pontificating and spouting of scripture on the subject a little disingenuous. Make that a lot disingenuous. Which is why we don’t respect your religious stance, you only use it to match your political leanings. You need to pray on this some, TRT, maybe you’ll see how you come across. It’s not flattering to you.

Cardsfan1 , speaking of the church of the Grand Old Putineers, wasn't it Culture Club than coined the phrase "Church of the Poison Mind" back in the eighties?  That's a good name for the church that must have grown up in.

So, basically, you should never post.  If you can't judge a man, you should never post.  I'll have to say this site will be a bit boring without you, TRT.

Van HagarSo in other words, you have no defense for him.

You are 100% wrong. I have criticized policy, you have criticized character. I have criticized the departure from our foundings, you have cheered those departures on.

I have demonstrated as do the founding documents, our founder's dependence and obeyance to the Scriptures. Our system of law was based on such observance of faith, the sort of thing the left decries. The steadfast erosion of that law has gone on now for most of the past century, hitting exponential velocity since 2000. The Church IMHO, sat on their hands instead of meaningful challenge to that erosion and the country has paid for it.

I have not sat idly by and accepted that. Absolutely, I make no bones about the fact that the affairs of Church and State must under the advice, even declaration by so many of the founders, reach some kind of meaningful confluence in the minds of those who serve this land. And I make no bones about the fact that I have very often substantiated my points backed up clearly by the inerrant Word of God.

No in 'other words' Van,  IMHO you and Cardfan and the others on here have endeavored to mercilessly slam the President's character, mischaracterize his motivation and intent, and ascribed his supporter's appreciation for his efforts, to cultism and idiocy. When you cited his character YOU took the conversation into the moral realm. That subject falls expressly under the sovereign purview of God's law. I expected you to reject that while you still have the Lord's leave to so do. But those days as I say are numbered.

I will accept and am very comfortable with your view of me and my use of the Scriptures to describe this world, as after all it is His and His alone to do with as He has forewarned. His answer to the opposition of men to His authority is Judgment. But the use of Scripture my friend, is my privilege and my charter to proclaim. It worked for the founders and I am not about to shrink from my responsibilities to that end. Either politically or Spiritually. All truth, natural science, political, social, governmental, historical, spiritual, is of the Lord. There is no wall of separation partitioning off any one of them.

You need to go over to the thread on what’s happening in DC and try to justify that in some way.

Oh, and by the way, have you ever stopped to consider that your interpretation of the scriptures could be wrong? After all, you’re a fallible human.

Isn't that the truth. Apart from salvation I would be in the same boat as the lost. Even now I am fallible and prone to sin that's true. But I am saved and that entitles me to certain clarity.
1 Cor 2-14
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness unto him; neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

My interpretation of Scripture is not wrong. I have spent my life balancing my own understand which as is promised in Scripture, the understanding of His own people is "Illuminated" by the express influence of the Holy Spirit Who dwells within them: against the teachings of the leading Biblical scholars of our day and days past.

yep.  DJT’s incompetence and attempt at subverting democracy deserves retribution.

From my POV, your unwavering support of him is UnAmerican.
