I personally struggle with this idea. I think anything open to the public all should be served.

The court ruled there is a limit to the idea of free speech in 1938. I can not think of the case but basically it said that you can not say fire in a theater, it causes harm to the general public.

After the events on Wednesday, social media companies this was over the line.

Then comes the idea whataboutism like the riots in the summer was there a difference? Other then being the Capital and trying to overthrow an election, which are two big things by the way. So let's let idea what there.

So does a private company have to serve others that it might have to disagree with? The answer is yes or it seems that way to me or we would still have diners that would not be open to African Americans.

So now they have to serve.

Can I go into said diner and get drunk and make it unpleasant for everyone else, or does the owner have the right to throw me out. Yes, I believe he does.

Now apply same standard to all social media. That is my take.

Most of what you say in your posts tends to be rendered rhetorical by the way you think.
 
But since you cited the food industry and social media for analogy I'll try staying with that approach. Put succinctly, social media started out as a cafeteria from which one could choose his fare, but has become a place where nuclear foodfights and vicious personal attack are as dependable as flies at a picnic. Like those innocent outdoor diners at BLM plaza who were attacked with commercial grade fireworks, no moment is innocent enough, so as not to draw vicious attack when online. The contempt is so violent and so prevalent that common folks to include Grandmothers and school teachers can be seen lining up daily at their local gun shops to purchase firearms for self defense.

While the left rampages against an innocent President 24/7, they conveniently forget about Maxine Waters fomenting the nightmare seen daily on our city streets. There is nothing novel about riots or marches or rallies being held in DC. At least this one had the notable distinction of the rally goers being responsible for their own passage to and from; and not having transportation to and from paid for by the Dems. As in the system of roads in the ancient world, ALL roads for marches and riots and civil unrest lead to Washington DC. That city is the scene of hundreds of them and as recently last June Saint John's Episcopal Church (next door to the White House was burned by BLM /Antifa thugs. No mock indignation in that case tho.

The question is not service mrtvtime, the question is that Parler and every other conservative medium, is gonna darn well pay for whatever service Apple and Google and Amazon thinks they deserve. They don't get to pick out whether they get a cake, or a tray of pastries or a piece of the American pie for that matter. They will get what Big Tech says they will get, or they will get nothing.

Social Media ought to be like a cafeteria where you take what you want and leave the rest. Not a banana republic prison camp where you get bread and water; IF you behave.
