North Laurel 101 Knott County Central 79
#1
Final
#2
Only thing that can stop this team is Covid shew

Have watched them play 3 times so far. This team is real deal. Don't see anyone in the 13th that can beat them, even on a bad night.
#4
They are beatable. Knox, South, Clay, and Corbin arent gonna roll out the red carpet for them 2 months from now.
#5
Don’t leave Harlan Co. out of the equation, they may be the biggest threat of all.

In all my years of watching basketball this might be the start of one of the best teams assembled. Averaging 97.4 points per game is a tall feet.

North Laurel is a great team! Young really and will only get better. Can you picture this group when they are seniors?? But let’s not forget the Patriots. They played a good game, and wasn’t 100%, playing without their Shepherd , who was playing great, good defensive player. McGuire played tough on both ends of the floor and I thought they should have went to him more. Huff stepped up big and had a double double. 8th grader Slone got some shots off and scored double digits. Overall, Pats put forth a good effort and played hard until the end, just this North Laurel team is loaded. Everyone can shoot. They apply pressure, get in the passing lanes, pass well. Just super talented, hot shooting team. Fun to watch. Excited to see what they will be able to accomplish this year and the years to come.

North is double digits better than any other team in the 13th this year. This still doesn't mean on a bad night they can't be beat......but if they play the way they are capable of they will be playing at Rupp this year and have a chance to make some noise. Other teams have players that are capable of putting up numbers like Sheppard but North's depth and role players puts them over the top.
