Paintsville 62 Magoffin 49
#1
Final
#2
Paintsville has gotten off to slow starts the past couple of games and have been really sloppy with way too many turnovers. They need to clean that up to be a contender this year.

This was a solid win for them though because Colby Fugate was in foul trouble all game long.

Magoffin is solid especially when the game is in the half court. They really struggled any time that Paintsville started to press.

Your 100% right. We have got to start games off better. Too many games we’ve started out in a hole and have to battle back. We’re proving that we’re figuring out how to finish games but desperately need to start getting out of the gate stronger. This Paintsville team is starting to click. If they can start games the way they’re finishing games then I Like our chances. Braxton Tharp continues to do Braxton Tharp things which is cutting and getting to the rack while knocking down open 3’s and also being a one of the better on ball defenders in the Region. Watts has elevated his game drastically from last year. That young man is fun to watch!

I agree Blue Bird! Watts had really stepped his game up this year. As good as Colby And Tharp are as a duo it’s always good to have a 3rd guy step forward to take some off their shoulders. Last year it was Nick Keeton and this year Watts.
