Nikki Haley Has a Warning for Hoot Gibson and Jetpilot
#1
In an interview with Politico to be published today, former Ambassador Nikki Haley confesses her shame and has a dire warning for Trump's  blind followers like our beloved Hoot and Jet :

"We need to acknowledge he let us down. He went down a path he shouldn't have, and we shouldn't have followed him, and we shouldn't have listened to him. And we can't let that ever happen again."

Hoot and Jet , my friends, Politico is not going to to offer you a forum to do what Ms. Haley did. But I will. Use your forum here on BGR, a forum where many people read what you say, to admit what the former ambassador did. The time is here.  Will you acknowledge what Ms Haley had to finally confront - that Donald Trump let us all down? Will you affirm that you followed him down a path you shouldn't have and shouldn't have listened to his dangerous lies and misinformation?   Will you take a stand here on this forum and finally confront the obvious - that we can never, EVER let this happen again?

It's your time, guys.   It's time for you to say what you know is right.  It's time ...

They will turn on her now that's all they can do

Radicalisation is a phased and complex process in which an individual or a group embraces a radical ideology or belief that accepts, uses or condones violence, including acts of terrorism, to reach a specific political or ideological purpose.

I fully expect a lashing of Nikki Haley as if she is some type of Benedict Arnold. Her allegiance to Trump up until this point has been her major flaw.

IMO, she is the leading Republican candidate in 2024. She has real shot against any Democrat. Some of the other Republican's ( Cruz, Hawley, Paul, Rubio, etc.) presidential chances are DOA against most--if not all--Democrats.

Trump jams up her chance at the presidency until 2028, and possibly 2032 if Uncle Joe doesn't run next time. It is difficult to beat an incumbent unless they are just terrible Big Grin . If Trump runs in 2024 and is drubbed by a democrat then Nikki will be waiting until 2032 all the while out of politics. That would be 14 years. Nearly impossible to restart a career after that.

The longer the Orange menace is around the worse it is for the hopes and dreams Republican Party.

Any Republican who abandons Trump in the middle of a political stunt staged by Democrats might as well go ahead and announce that they will not be running for president in 2024. Republicans interested in the job can safely criticize some of Trump's actions - nobody is perfect - but after four years of China Joe and Kamala Harris, Republicans will not be interested in nominating a RINO as their candidate. Inflation, gas prices, and unemployment are already beginning the steep climb that socialist policies always bring.

No Republican has a chance of being elected in 2024 by running on a platform designed to appeal to Democrats. Nikki Haley's candidacy is DOA.

What a coincidence that's the same way people voted after 4 years of Trump's miserable record as president

Or maybe there is this. Possibly, with MR Trump having offered a strong National Guard presence in and around the Capital for Jan 6th; and given that Dems in charge of DC and the House of Representatives, were so accustomed to stonewalling the President's every offer of help and every suggestion. That this was one occasion that their contempt rose up and bit them in their stiff posteriors?

Mark Meadows:  "Trump Offered 10,000 National Guard Troops to Ready Ahead of Jan. 6"

Former President Donald Trump offered to deploy “as many as 10,000 National Guard troops,” ahead of Jan. 6 to support law enforcement, according to his one-time White House chief of staff Mark Meadows.

Or is Mark Meadows just another lying Republican cultist? Oh and Cardfan---- bashing everybody who doesn't mindlessly take the left track is your default setting. Haley has the right to think what she wants.

All Trump had to do if this is true go to the Senate and testify or maybe there was notes of making the offer
Or call Mark Meadows to testify there's many ways to find out if you really want to know the truth
But i have a funny feeling you don't want the truth

Comrade vector, Republicans had a better idea. They were going to call Nancy Pelosi and DC Mayor Muriel Bowser to testify as witnesses. House Impeachment Managers retreated from their plan to call witnesses to avoid having Pelosi either clear Trump or commit perjury. Avoiding an obvious perjury trap was the only smart thing Democrats have done since Trump left office.

You are right, TRT, this clown will believe anything any radical left winger tells him.

In all candor, there is only One Whom I will defend to the end. The Lord Jesus.

Absolutely everybody else is on the table. Frankly this idea that the conservatives on this board do not criticize Republicans is completely off base. The list of Republicans with whom I've had ax to grind is long, and Hoot's is even longer.

But I will withhold joining the hit squad on this one until the truth comes out. Partisan predilection notwithstanding, it is certainly not evidentiary. If Trump or anybody else has it coming, then they have it coming. But show me an unarmed bozo in buffalo headdress and try to tell me he's there to overthrow this republic, I gotta drag my feet on that one. To rush to judgment, is to leave any semblance of judgment out of it. As I am until and if, American style due process is served.

Particularly, Republicans with fanciful fantasies of living at 1600 PA Ave. Ain't gonna happen. If you're scared of the Apprentice guy that's headed for jail , you're not president material.

What they are afraid of is his block of voters, i.e. his cult.  They are only concerned with getting reelected, and as with most politicians, everything else is secondary.  When the U.S. Govt. was set up, career politicians was not a part of the plan.

I'm afraid of what will happen if he runs and loses again.

I believe he may try and pave the way for one on his children to run in 2024 instead of running himself.  Cruz and the other wannabes are going to be badly disappointed when they realize he has plans for the Trump family to rule the GOP for about the next 20 years or so.

Warren Jeffs' followers still staunchly defend him as he rots away in jail. Manson still controlled his cult from  San Q . MAGAtrumpers will likely pay pilgrimage to their pompous patriarch's home in the pokey. Prison won't change Maga minds.

True.  Reminds me of the South's obsession with Robert E. Lee.  This takes me further down the Rabbit Hole, Arlington Cemetary was Lee's estate (by marriage).  A Union Quartermaster, who was furious with Lee's treason, started planting Union soldiers right in ole Mary's gardens near the end of the war.  Eventually, the federal govt paid the Lees for the ground in 1882, but the insult remained.

I never knew that.  I only discovered it when I read a tweet suggesting we start burying those we lose to COVID at Mar-A-Lago.

Sorry, I digress.  After Trump's "wonderful" speech this wkd, he is definitely not running in 2024.  He just wants everybody that has wronged him to lose, and that includes Republicans.
