My OVC Small School 7th & 8th grade tournament begins Saturday at Raceland Middle School.

7th grade Upper Half- #1 seed (west) West Carter vs. #4 seed (east) Wurtland Middle
                                       #2 seed (east) McKell Middle vs. #3 seed (west) Elliott County

7th grade Lower Half- #1 seed (east) Raceland Middle vs. #4 seed (west) Bath County
                                        #2 seed (west) Lewis County vs. #3 seed (east) Fairview Middle

8th grade Upper Half- #1 seed (west) West Carter vs. #4 seed (east) Wurtland Middle
                                       #2 seed (east) Fairview Middle vs. #3 seed (west) Elliott County

8th grade Lower Half- #1 seed (east) McKell Middle vs. #4 seed (west) Bath County
                                       #2 seed (west) Lewis County vs. #3 seed (east) Raceland Middle

7th grade semi-finals on Monday, Mar. 1

8th grade semi-finals on Tuesday, Mar. 2


Both 7th & 8th grade championships wil be Thursday, Mar. 4 at 6:00 (7th grade) and 7:15 (8th grade)

In last night's 7th grade semi-finals #1 seed West Carter defeated #2 seed McKell Middle School.

#1 seed Raceland Middle defeated #3 seed Fairview Middle. This is will set up the final between both the #1 seeds in West Carter and Raceland Middle on Thursday, Mar. 4 at 6:30pm at Raceland middle school.

Congratulations to last night's 8th grade small school champions: In the 8th grade finals Fairview Middle School defeated Raceland Middle School.

Concerning the 7th grade championship it has had to be delayed due to Raceland Middle School being put in Covid protocol until March 14th. The game has been rescheduled for Tuesday, March 16th. The final is between West Carter and Raceland Middle School.

Due to Covid-19 protocols we were finally able to finish our 7th grade small school championship. Congrats to Raceland Middle who defeated West Carter on Tuesday night.
