It comes after the New York Times reported in February that Mark Esper and Gen. Mark Milley, Trump's joint chiefs of staff, agreed to delay the nomination of both leaders until President Trump had left office.

Both reportedly feared that he would oppose the nomination of any candidates who were not white men, and would pick his own candidates if he found the nominations were discussed with him.

That's typical liberal BS. The agency in which I currently work is headed by a female Brigadier General who was promoted to her position under Trump. The top ranking civilian in our agency (SES, the equivalent of a General) is also a woman. There really is no depth to which liberals will not sink to take a shot at Trump.
