Just a terrific high school basketball game.

UHA led by 11 at halftime and appeared in control.  Madisonville was in a zone the entire first half and UHA carved it up repeatedly.  I don't know the official stats but I bet UHA shot close to 70% in the first half.

In the second half Madisonville switched to man to man and really confused UHA for the first 4 minutes of the second half.  Madisonville hit several 3's to get back in the game.  From the midpoint of the 3rd quarter on neither team had more than a 5 point lead.

UHA nailed a three with 15 seconds left to take a 2 point lead and held on after getting a steal on the last possession.

This is a scrappy bunch for UHA.  4 senior guards who are 5'10 and a senior "big" man who is 6'2.  Very few expected them to win the region.
