Matt Gaetz - So far zero confirmed evidence of any wrong doing, yet liberals are certain that he is headed for jail.

Nothing here to see, say the liberals, despite this being the same type of crime for which Trump was falsely accused, with no evidence, and impeached.

Hunter Biden - Implicated by eyewitness accounts (including former business partner) of a long list of criminal behavior and documented on his own laptop. Nothing here to see, say the liberals who are certain that evidence will turn up against Matt Gaetz. Not only is there ample evidence on Hunter Biden's laptop to send him to jail, he also implicates his father, Joe, and uncle, James in his schemes.

I am not going out on a limb to claim that the current investigation will turn up no evidence of wrongdoing in Gaetz's case. The federal government has unlimited resources and they are relentless in persecuting and prosecuting Americans for political purposes. The kind of allegations about Gaetz that have been made should not require a long, extensive, and expensive investigation. The fact that no charges have been filed indicates an absence of credible witnesses against Gaetz, including the alleged victim. The federal government should not resort to coercing witnesses to make a case against any American.

I am going out on a limb to say that if Hunter Biden was not the son of China Joe Biden, he would already be serving a very long prison sentence. The difference in the way that liberals treat the allegations against Gaetz and Hunter Biden is the best illustration of their hypocrisy. When one can advocate sending a conservative to jail in the absence of incriminating evidence, while at the same time defending an absolute scumbag like Hunter Biden despite incriminating evidence against him, then that person is one who should not be taken serious on any issue.
