^^ Floyd Austin ran right over the qualifying reasons on which Matt Gaetz prefaced his question. OFFICERS that spoke with Gaetz in the service of their country are the ones who raised the points of interest of which Gaetz brought up. Likely at least some of those officers were his constituents but even if they were not, part of the responsibility of every US Congressmen is to bring the legitimate concerns of the American people before the Congress. Austin is the man who should have answered the question but chose instead, IMHO, to call Gaetz spurious for asking.

Not exactly an example of playing the race card on Austin's part,  but a personal attack on Gaetz nonetheless.
This is the way with the left. Attack your political rivals savagely enough, so that while the false accusations thrown up are still sticking to the wall, anyone on the left under pressure as in this case, can attack the person on which the slander has been perpetrated as a means of defense against things that under normal circumstances are indefensible. Even if nothing is ever proven, your side just keeps coming as in the case of DJT.

Just in hitting a few high profile types, you guys swarmed President Trump, you swarmed Rudy Giuliani, and now you're swarming Matt Gaetz. Same old tactic and there exists to this day against any of these public servants, one provable charge. It's all a load of gossip at best.

TRT your King, Rudy, and your boy Matt deserve everything that's coming their way.
