They still might be.  Southwestern was down 6 starters coming into the game and lost 2 more during this one.  They had a freshman playing quarterback the whole second half.  It was a great game to watch.  I came out more impressed with Mercer than I did disappointed in Southwestern given the situation.

Huge win for Mercer County stopping what was the leading scoring offense in the state... Super impressive win. I'm interested to see if Buchanan and the staff can take them all the way in 3A this year...
