A positive for Douglass with Henry Clay cancelling early last week it gave 3 or 4 extra days to practice on defending against the wing-t. I'd say Douglass wins 36-14.

I would love to see Scott County lay the smack down on Freddy D, but I don't think it will happen.

He is my all-time favorite wrestler.  I got to talk to him at the Betsy Layne Dome when I was a kid and got a couple pics signed by him.

Douglass took the opening kick drove it right down the field but Scott Co. held them on downs at the 3 yard line.

Douglass held Scott Co. to a 3 and out. Douglass is already driving again.

Scott Co. defense has bent but not broke they hold the Broncos again to turn it over on downs in the red zone a holding penalty hurt the Broncos on this series. Still 0-0 with 3 minutes left in the 1st quarter.

End of the first quarter 0-0. The Broncos are in the Scott Co. red zone once again to start the 2nd quarter.

Douglass scores on this drive the extra point is good. Douglass leads 7-0 with 11:24 left in the 2nd quarter.

Douglass drive stalls again due to a penalty in the Cardinals red zone. The Broncos kick a 36 yard FG to lead 10-0 with 7:52 left in the 2nd quarter I’m not sure but I think Scott Co. has negative total yards so far. Their defense has kept them close so far along with Douglass self inflected penalties.

Scott Co. just turned it over on downs just inside of mid-field.

Douglass just had a player striped from behind inside of the 5 yard line recovered by Scott Co

First play after the Douglass fumble the Broncos defense gets a safety to now lead 12-0. The on the kickoff Douglass runs it back inside the Cardinals 5 yard line but is brought back to the 45 yard line by yet another penalty. Scott Co. is very fortunate to only be down 12-0 they have been totally dominated so far.

No the Broncos fumble the hand off and set Scott Co. Up with good field position with 2:30 left in the half.

The Broncos defense force the Cards to turn it over on downs inside the Bronco 30.

Fredrick Douglas in a dog fight!!!!

Scott Co. is very fortunate to only be down 12 as the Broncos have dominated everything but the scoreboard. When you hang around anything can happen. I think Coach McKee will be happy to only be down 12 but I’m sure he’d like 7 there with that field position.

Douglass just had another touchdown called back by a late holding call and missed a 40 yard FG wide left.

Douglass holds Scott Co. to another 3 and out gets the ball back and score to go up 19-0.

Douglass gets their 2nd safety of the night to go up 28-0 and then ran the kickoff back to the Scott Co. 3 yard line. Next play Douglass scores again to make it 35-0 with 2:30 to play.
