The championship match at Greenup County tonight starts at 7:00.

This should be one of the closest contests in the five Eastern Kentucky regionals.

Boyd won both regular season meetings, home and away, 3-2.

Russell lost too much Fire power due to graduation from the team that beat Boyd county in the semis last year. I'll be surprised if Russell wins the regional final match. Russell has done good to get to the regional final game.

25-16 in the 3rd set Boyd wins 3-0. First Region Championship since 2003.
