I think Corbin is probably the favorite but I don't think they are two TD's better than Boyle, or JC. I would also put Franklin above LexCath. I don't think they can have a bad game and win it all.

Well that's heck of a statement. You might want to go write for Collin Cowherd or Stephen A. They've figured out how to make a lot of money off of some wild things. These three have been been duking it out for the 4A title for the last few years. For any of them to take the others lightly or assume they are a couple scores better is pretty bold.

No team in the top 3 is that much better than the other. Every year a small group of people say the same thing. Couple years ago it was boyle was going undefeated. Didn’t work out. Then last year a couple were saying JC was going to have a “cake walk” to the title. Didn’t work out. You’d figure eventually that these teams at the top are pretty even. You can look back and see weeks ago I said there wasn’t much of any separation between Corbin and boyle. A couple of the good people on here from boyle were trying to be humble and gave us the nod. I still think it’s a coin flip. There schedule has prepared them better, but we have move talent and depth IMO.

I do think there’s a little more separation between those 2 and JC. But they make up for it with their physical play.

Lex cath, I’m still not sold on, I still think that was a fluke game with BC. They and Franklin and maybe central are dangerous enough to beat whoever if they don’t show up. But the the odds of one of them holding the trophy are slim to none.

I agree with nearly everything you said above. The only difference is probably with Franklin County. Their defense against the run against JC last season was as effective as any that I have seen. If their offense continues to improve, I think that they will be a legitimate threat to win it all. They are very well-coached and have the athletes to enable them to execute a great game plan.

I agree with your opinion of Lexington Catholic. Their defense against a physical team with a run-oriented offense always seems to be shaky.

Talent-wise, I don't see much separation between the top three teams. I only give them a slight edge over JC because of the loss of Coach Matney. The loss of Mason Lawson also means that the Golden Eagles have less margin of error against top teams. They still have a very good group of running backs, but they could depend on Lawson rushing for 100 yards+ nearly every game. But as long as the team can average 6 or 7 yards per carry, they will be a tough out for any team.

Corbin is the team with the bullseye on them clearly. I totally agree with run it up the gut 14.Corbin is absolutely over run with talent this year and can play different styles of football at a very high level. That will translate into a State Championship this season

Top 3 are on point. 4, 5, 6 are interchangeable in the rankings, but yeah I see one of the top 3 winning it all and maybe 4, 5, 6 has a shot, it's looooooooooong, but it's a shot lol.
