I’m kinda in the middle on it. I think part of the problem is the depth of quality Ky football teams. There’s a huge difference even in the top tier the next tier down from
them, pretty good teams. But I see your point too. I’d say if you go to any state, the majority of games would be blow outs between the top district team and the last place. Cross district makes it a little more interesting, but about the same result. But do you shorten a kids HS career because of it? I’m not gonna say either way. But if we’re the commissioner, I would put it to a vote. Let the kids decide. They redistrict every what? 3 or 4 years? Let the players decide what THEY want to do. And then after 4 years, they can vote again. Time ans time again, these people in charge make these decisions for the athletes, but do they ever really ask their input? I know they do coaches. But it’s not the coaches who have to get out there and get whipped 70-0. Or… the coaches always have “next season”, maybe the kids are in favor of getting one more game. Who knows. But I’d get the kids input first and foremost

I'm with you on this. I don't think all teams should make the playoffs, but sometimes districts have more than two very good teams that deserve to be in the playoffs.
