Are my Colonels smokin' some hind end in baseball or what? 10 straight wins to end regular season, and 12 straight wins overall and beat Corbin 14-4 in 5 innings to win District Championship.

Your on the football forum Dougie…I’d rather watch paint dry than baseball, it was my old man’s favorite sport though, made me play it even though I’d intentionally strike out in hopes they’d cut me the next year…

Football is my favorite, but I like most sports including baseball ,and 12 straight wins is impressive in any sport Smile . We can only hope to have a coach and program in football that can mimic what this coach has done with the baseball team.  Baseball can get boring, but I use to love to listen to Joe and Marty announce Cincionnati Reds games on 700 WLW. After the game was over Joe Nuxhall would say this is the old lefty rounding 3rd and headed for home. Pete Rose was as tough as any football player. lol

Wonder if they’re ever gonna let Rose into the HOF, it’s became laughable at this point that he’s not, if Michael Jordan can be in it with all his admitted gambling issues no reason to keep Rose out…

There's people in Hall of Fame that have done worse things than him, and He is The Greatest Hitter Ever. I hope he gets in while he is still alive.

Does Whitley County have some young players that are future stars?

Dee Parker will be the best RB in the area by the end of his sophomore year. He will be a freshman for Whitley.

I've watched him a few years tines and on video before. I wasn't sure what grade he was in now, but he is gonna be tough. I hope the Corbin coaches stay away from him  lol

He's a special talent. Runs deceptively hard because of how slippery he is. He'll be a good one.

I've been waiting to see him play at the high school. Hopefully they are building a big strong line for him to run behind. He is definitely a special talent.

He’s gonna be a good one and I wasn’t trying to bother him I just needed some Coffee and was gonna to let him know he might want to come up and take a look at the field before he plays on it this year….

Outside looking in, I can't see whitley co. getting any wins.

Id say Whitely will beat Clay (scrimmage), Harlan and South Laurel if I was betting on the games.

Not as much as you like to instigate but from what I’ve seen you like traveling a lot more than I do… Smile
