Letcher Co 8 powell Co 5
#1
Letcher jumped out on powell 8-0 and powell climbed back in the game. Powell recorded more hits. Napier started the game went almost 3 innings begley came in and held letcher to 3 none after the fourth inning. Was a good game. Both teams can hit and both teams have really good defenses.

Powell is the most overrated team in the region in my opinion. Outside of the nickle kid they have no pitching ( the freshman Dicken will be good in time)  and only one kid hitting above .300...

Not sure what stats you are looking at. They have several over 300. They have an 8th grader hitting over 300. That same 8th grader had a 2 out hit that forced Letcher to bring in Little. As far as pitching take a look at the stats... Same story.

Yeah don’t really get where you’re getting your info From on either. 8 of their 9 hitters are right at 300 to 400. They have 4 solid pitchers. Kyle Nickle jr, Austin begley jr, Kane Knox so, and lacy dickens fr. They lost only one kid that started last year and right now they only start one senior. But everyone keep underestimating them and they will send your team home in the regional tournament.

Powell is a really good team. They bat .315 as a team. Have 4/5 pitchers that have thrown15-25 innings.
They did play 3 seniors against perry, but are mostly Jr,So,Fr. They will be tough out in this years region. And I expect them, along with Wolfe and Breathitt to be toward the very top next year.

This should actually be a forfeit by Letcher. They pitched Little when he was ineligible. Everyone in the park knew it. All the coaches there had him marked as ineligible before the game started. Some how immediately after the Powell game Little's pitch count from 4/26 was changed from 77 to 74. From 3 days rest to 2.

Now the question is will Powell report it and what are the ramifications?
