How many starters do the Hounds lose? Their QB and one or two targets are back, aren’t they? They had a great Line. How many return?

Corbin could be anywhere from 1-4 in 4A next year. Boyle’s replacement at QB is the biggest question they will have to answer. They have plenty of athletes to replace the kid at RB but good smart QB’s dont come through every year but id still put. boyle #1 returning montavin and brock driver along with haddix. PT will also be a top contender again next year returning alot of kids that played in a state championship game as freshman 2 years ago returning for senior year along with one of the top defensive players in the state in martels carter jr. Im not to aure what Covington returns but im sure them and Franklin county will have a solid team next year also.

Boyle has already had a qb move from Woodford Co mid season that’s currently a junior and will be a senior next year. He was one of a few at Woodford. No idea his level of skill though but have heard he’s a great athlete

Losing 16 of 22 starters per someone else’s post and you seriously think “somewhere from 1-4” in all of 4A???

Maybe you left a number out, somewhere from 11-14 or 11-24 seems more likely given those losses. If they are going to be in the top 1-4 category the transfer portal will have to be even hotter than it was this season for Corbin

Why not wait until January to start this? The playoffs are still going on and 24 other teams are still playing.

I’d like an XL just to wear around a few people that I know would ruin their Christmas…

Tommy knows he’s gonna take some losses next year in regular season and early exit from playoffs. I know Tommy too well and he’s not gonna hang around and take a bunch of losses next year after the four seasons of wins he’s acrued. If hypothetically a new coach is hired how many current Corbin coaches get to remain on staff? Before anyone interviews for Head Coach Job they better be asking this question. Anything less than a complete overhaul of the program would be disastrous for a new head coach. Who stays and who goes?
#18
IDK what they have returning but I know what the outcome will be, Again.

Soph Baylor Murphy was the QB on Boyle's undefeated JV team. He could have started for most teams. He is a tough kid, throws a great ball and a tough runner. It will take a special talent to beat him out next year as Boyle's signal caller.

Agree completely with previous post, although the WC transfer must be confident in his chances as the first day he was on campus his Twitter was updated to say BC qb c/o 25…saw that with my own eyes

And BC’s jv wasn’t undefeated, they lost a close one to Bryan Station…

The title of this thread is Corbin 2024 and a majority of the comments have Boyle's name in them LOL.

The 4th post in this thread mentioned BC’s qb situation after this season so I posted about the WC kid transferring

As long as Corbin and Boyle is playing in same class it’ll always be a Corbin/Boyle thread because the three stooges on staff made sure of that..

They definitely have to give a new coach full control and let him pick a staff. Hopefully none of  the current staff will go to Goldbug.

Corbin will win many more games than they lose. They always do. In excess of 325 kids from grade 2 through HS. There will be plenty of talent. Bring in a coach from the outside and give him total control and Corbin can win. Will the old guys allow that to happen ,though?

These guys are obsessed with Corbin. the want to incessantly talk about how inferior they are to Boyle. I presume it helps them sleep better at night. sorest game winners I've ever seen. they are really offended that someone dares try to have a team that is competitive against the "mighty" Boyle in 4A football.

honestly, I would worry less about what Corbin is going to have in 2024 and be worried more about that Morehead State coach vacancy "that cowboy don't got a lot of stick around" as they would say in my home state. especially if you win state, great note to leave on....

Serious question.  Give how the 2 most recent coaches have been treated why would this be considered an attractive job?  As an outsider looking in just listening to how the fan base and seemingly the administration treats coaches there appears to be too any red flags that come with making this job worthwhile.
