Boyle County 2024
#1
Will they be better in 24? It's going to be hard to replace Gorley, Crowe, Dawson and Bodner. They do return IMO Mr. Football next year Montavin Quisenberry.

I sure hope he goes to UK!! Stoops missed out on Damien Harris, and this kid reminds me so much of how Harris ran.

Stud!

I can't imagine they will be any better. They are losing some great players. But I expect they'll be really, really good.

Boyle won’t miss a beat. So much returns. Will have Seneca Driver, who is Brock’s brother and a sophomore who missed his freshman season for surgery. He is as big as Brock, but taller and already has a D1 offer from EKU. Crowe’s younger brother Jax will step in, and he already has as a sophomore he played the last couple games including last night. D Brown, Quisenberry, G Brown, the biggest question will be who gets the qb job. Several very capable candidates there. Much of the line returns. McClure, Kelly, Wade, and more very capable kids coming up through the ranks. Great time to be a Rebel!

I hope not. As much as I like UK football, Q is special and will get misused there.

QB won't be an issue. Nason has already transferred, plus as backups you have Q, Brown and Murphy. McPherson will certainly be exciting to watch next year as he is cut from the same clothe as Q.

No, qb won’t be an issue but I don’t think just because a kid transferred in the job will automatically be his. Baylor Murphy who has been jv qb for the last 2 seasons is very good and will be competing for this spot also.

He is good, but is he big enough? Harris weighed about 50 more pounds?

Going to be another dominate year ahead… wonder if any new unknown weapons will be added in the off season?

I'd bet on it.

Thoughts for 2024?

I believe the only changes to the schedule are the bowl games.  LCA in Bowling Green. So really trading Gibson Southern, IN. For Bryan Station.

Presumptive favorite to win 4A. Who replaces Bodner and Dawson?

I wonder if D. Brown might take over the Bodner role.
#15
As a coach trying to replace Bodner, Dawson ,Gorley and several role players individually would drive you crazy. Bodner the Heart and Soul of your team, both ways, Dawson Mr. consistency and 4A player of the year at QB with Gorley a mountain man on both offense and defense, you don't know where to begin. Then collectively you consider an extra years experience on a wealth of returning lettermen, the added strength and growth another year ads to your returnees and the experience they had going thru , not only a challenging season but one of the toughest playoff series that you ever expect to face. So no, you don't replace those tremendous athletes individually, but as a team collectively you try to improve as a whole, which coach Haddix and his staff have already shown they are quite capable of. I do think this is a good problem to have as a Rebel coach no matter how challenging it is. I am just thankful that we have Coach Haddix and his staff here at Boyle giving the direction and leadership that has provided the delightful season or I might say championship seasons that we all have enjoyed so much and take so much pride in. Even though we will miss these graduating senior so much, I know in 2024 we will very exited to see the next group of Rebels that Coach Haddix and his staff assemble to challenge for another title

25 Adryan Newell RB, DB Fr.
This kid will be a stud …
Can’t wait to see him do big things !!
#17
Boyle goes undefeated again and wins Five in a row. Why? Cause Justin Haddix knows he’s got the best players in the state coming back next year and he’s on a damn mission…

He won't see the field next year. Boyle way too loaded. He might be on kickoff

I wonder if they keep adding talent from across town as well. If Boyle keeps getting that, they can just keep rolling for a long while in my view.

why wouldn’t a kid go to BC over danville (in the current situation) ?  Like prime said- kids can’t stay committed to a gf much less a school.

Boyle will be better next year, in my opinion. Haddix is looking at #5 in a row, and I don't think there is much anyone can do about it.

The Rebels are the men to beat in 4A. They return a plethora of talent led by Quisenberry, and the Brown's on O.

Driver, Richards, and Bullock will lead the D while getting some assiatance from Quisenberry, and the Browns.

Don't believe the gap will be as wide as it has been in their class.

Boyle County will be Great this year, while they lose a lot of SR Talent the incoming Senior Class is going to be great the young JV/ Freshman guys have been great as well as they have won their conference Championship this year and I belive the year before last, Boyle will be fine

Boyle has 3 good options at RB Junior Jydin Smith Hiysel is a great young RB that if you can get going is hard to stop D Brown will probably end up being RB 1 if I had to guess
