Take away the Harlan county losses, and Bell county has blown 16+ point leads in the second half against good teams. Boyd county the team fell apart and showed their youth.

This game, if it had been played in the KHSAA, would be under dispute for referees. The leading scorer and rebounder for bell county, who is also the point guard, fouled out because of 2 fouls boxing someone out with position on his man but the ref considered that contact, and then a technical on an elbow that never happened. On top of that, the second leading scorer got three fouls in the first and eventually fouled out on 2 ghost fouls. At the end of the game, 3 starters for bell fouled out, and another had 4. Ryle was in the bonus in the 4th quarter with 6:45 to play. A illegal substitution was called on ryle, which by national rule is a technical foul, but the game just went on as if nothing happened even though the REF STOPPED PLAY TO CALL IT. So you call the violation, but with no penalty and ryle gets the ball. Cherry on top, the clock keeper was from ryle, and refused to start the clock in the 4th to give ryle enough time to mark a come back. After going back and watching the livestream, the quarter had 11 minutes of active play rather than 8. At one point on the scoreboard you can see the clock didn’t start for nearly 20 seconds with 1:37 to play. Ryle scored the final bucket with 11 seconds, which mathematically would not have been possible if the clock was ran correctly, and that happens the entire game. The ref threatened fans and coaches during and after the game. But the game happened in indiana so nobody will ever look back at it. Does it matter? No, but when people talk about getting screwed look back at this game.
