Corbin 73 Middlesboro 48
#1
The Redhounds win at Middlesboro to close the regular season at 19-8 .  Really odd game.  Corbin jumped out to a 8-0 lead and then Middlesboro responded with a 20-2 run to go up 10. The Jackets still lead by seven early in the third and by three  at 40-37 with about three minutes left in the third stanza when Corbin went on an incredible run. The Hounds closed the game on a 36-8 bionic  - like run that would have even astonished six-million dollar man, and former MBoro alum, Lee Majors.

Corbin's 8th-grader, Ryder Akins. paced the Hounds with 27 points, including seven made three-pointers. The kid is gonna be a dandy. Corbin will begin its quest for a 50th district title on Tuesday when they face off against Williamsburg at Whitley County High School.
