#1
Final from Harlan County High School.

Congratulations Black Bears!!!

And a warning for the future. This Bell County team is young, and will only improve. Their effort and heart in playing the game is championship worthy. They WILL be a force to be reckoned with in the next couple of years.

When they played Corbin a couple of weeks ago, I was really impressed with Bell, not because of the way they played that night, but because of their effort and heart on the floor , and their spirit and demeanor on the bench. Even when they were down double digits in the second half, they never gave up. Their coach was still coaching just as hard as he was at tip off. Oh, and he dresses like a champion. The kids on the floor and on the bench remained very engaged with coach and teammates. Even down 15, the players on the bench were up at every Bobcat bucket applauding their teammates play. Seems like a great bunch of young kids. From the coach right on down to the last guy on the bench, they just exude class and professionalism. Bell has had a terrific year.

Bell has the youngest roster I can ever remember... 0 seniors , 1 junior, 3 sophs, 6 frosh, and about five  7th and 8th graders. They have a very fine coach and a lot of seemingly very coachable youngsters. Heed granny's warning---Bell County will be a force the next few years!!!
