Final from Morehead. Ashland will take on Fleming Co. in the semifinals at Morehead at 8:00pm.

I was afraid this was going to happen. I didn't think Greenup Co. had enough horsepower to play against the top tier in the 16th Region. But give Coach Allison a tremendous amount of credit for winning the 63rd District. He did a masterful job coaching against the other teams.

Unfortunately this was a down year for the 63rd District. Russell was not competitive in a 25 pt. loss to Rowan (53-78) and was 0-10 against the top half of the 16th Region. Greenup was handled easily in this game and was 3-8 vs the top half of the 16th with all 3 wins against Russell. Regardless, best of luck to Coach Allison and the Musketeers moving forward.
