Convincing win for the Blackcats. Matt Welch with a dominating performance on the mound allowing only 2 hits on the game. Prestonsburg now won 3 in a row with a home matchup against Shelby Valley tomorrow night.

Welch kid has an arm. Im guessing he's one of the best pitchers in the 15th this season

Prestonsburg definitely a contender in the 15th. Pikeville looked to be far above the rest of the 15th but went 1-2 over spring break against good competition and looked bad in their two losses. 15th wide open for 3-4 teams.

Prestonsburg has some solid throwers. Probably 2nd or 3rd in the region behind Pikeville in terms of pitching depth. Just need to see a bit more consistency and less walks from 2 through 4 in the rotation. They get that taken care of, they can be extremely dangerous at the end of the year.
