Tennessee Correctional Officer Murdered by Prisoner's Wife

The suspects are George and Jennifer Hyatte. Jennifer is accused of shooting and killing a correctional officer who was escorting her husband to court.

Police were transferring George Hyatte when witnesses say Jennifer pulled up to the prison van and opened fire.

Investigators say the couple then took off in a vehicle. There was an exchange of gunfire.

Police later found the abandoned getaway car with blood in it. One of the suspects could be wounded and may seek medical treatment.

Police here in Kentucky are keeping an eye out for a 2000 model beige Chevy van. They believe the suspects may be driving a vehicle of that description.

The head of the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation says every officer in the state is on the lookout for the couple.

I saw this on the news this morning. Hopefully they catch both of them. Sad to hear, pretty shocking actually. 15th, tell your dad to watch out for them! Lol.

They were both caught in a hotel room in Columbus, OH about 8:00 pm ...

I seen something else on the news about somebody that escaped prison and was coaght in a motel in London. Is this story related in anyway?? I just seen this news today.

Awesome that they were caught but QQ I haven't heard any info on the story that you are talking about....I will catch the news later and see if they mention it but as of yet, no news on it.
