Recent discussion has prompted me to ask this question.

Those of you who say you are pro-life and that "life begins at conception."

What are your thoughts on the birth control pill? Are you for it? Against it?


The reason I ask is because if you believe that life begins at conception, then it is possible to cause an abortion while on the pill. The pill works in two different ways. One way is by preventing fertilization of the egg and the other way is by changing the lining of the uterus in such a way that if an egg is fertilized, it will not be able to be implanted onto the uterine wall, thus causing an abortion or loss of a fertilized egg.
