Congrats to the Elite and Shane Hall. That makes him a two time AAU state champion.

Anyone know if there was a team called Riverstarz in the 13U AAU tourney? They have a kid from Greenup on there that is about 6'5 and they have a good team. Some kids from Ohio, some from Lewis Co also. Saw them play the other day aginst older teams and beat the older teams pretty bad.

Just got word that the Riverstarz team did not play in the state because of several of there kids playing baseball, however, once baseball is done they will be traveling to Columbus OH, Cincinnati, Charelston WV, Louisville, and other places to play over the summer.

I have never seen the Riverstarz play, but I can guarantee they would have had a tough time in this tourney.

They will be hosting a tournament in Georgetown during Memorial Day Weekend. Look under the tab for news. Should be great competition for any one interested.

Everyone needs to be careful going down to the KBA tournaments. This past weekend was very crazy. The worse officials that you could imagine. Several teams claim they won't be back and the management was handling the situation like the "Key Stone Cops". One of the coaches from L'ville pointed out the large drop in teams playing in KBA events over the past few years and said the quality of people dealing with the teams was the problem. TIFWIW.

I've been the last 3 years, and this was by far the worst for team turn outs and KBA staff.

KBA is bad to the bone. You better have your stuff together before you play down there.
